Our interdenominational community nurtures students as they grow in their faith and become productive citizens who respect authority, serve others, and lead by example.
The NCA JOURNEY
Founded in 1979, New Covenant Academy began as a church-sponsored school at Word of God Tabernacle. By 1981, several area churches collaborated to establish the school with pastors serving on its board. As enrollment grew, the school sought a permanent home and, in 1983, became independent from specific church affiliations.
Starting in 2010, NCA experienced rapid enrollment growth, increasing by 95% over eight years. To accommodate this expansion, the board faced a critical decision: limit enrollment or embrace growth. This led to the purchase of the Parkcrest Life360 property in 2017. After extensive renovations—and an unfortunate fire that heavily damaged the original chapel in 2018—the Liberty Campus opened in January 2019, housing grades 5-8.
The elementary and high school programs remained at the original Cox Ave. campus, fostering unique mentoring opportunities through the A+ program, where high schoolers tutor elementary students. To further support growth, NCA leased a third campus in 2022 allowing the elementary school to expand to three sections per grade level.
In 2026 NCA returned to a 2 campus model bringing the Jr. Kindergarten program back to Warrior Campus.

Warrior Campus

NCA’s original campus is situated on 27 acres, this location has Federal Protection Warrior Baseball Field, a soccer field, fenced playground, gymnasium, weight room, administrative offices, cafeteria, commons, library, computer lab and classrooms.
Liberty Campus
Grades 5th – 8th (Intermediate and Jr. High)

Formerly home to Life 360 Parkcrest Church, the 10-acre campus has an outdoor field, play area, gymnasium, library loft, administrative offices, auditorium, kitchen and classrooms.

Is NCA an accredited school?

What is the NCA dress code policy?
New Covenant Academy wishes to promote a standard of appearance that reflects a positive attitude and enhances the learning environment while allowing for reasonable comfort and individuality of all students.
Quality of dress is a part of the curriculum for a student enrolled at NCA. Neat, clean, well kept, and modest appearance and the absence of extremes are expected.
Many problems will be eliminated if parents/guardians will assume responsibility for enforcing the school standard of dress code with their child. Parent/guardian cooperation in this area will be expected.
Dress code interpretation is at the discretion of the school staff. Specific dress expectations and guidelines are outlined in the student handbooks.
Does NCA provide before or after-school care?
New Covenant Academy offers a before and after school program for NCA students in grades Jr.K-8. Any student in grades Jr.K-6 who are on campus before & after school and (students in grades 7-8 who are on campus after school) and are not engaged in a formal scheduled activity, will be required to check-in to NCA’s extended care program. An hourly rate, over and above tuition is charged.

Does NCA offer a lunch program?
Yes, New Covenant Academy has a full-service hot lunch program serving all 3 campuses. Our warm and friendly kitchen staff is managed by our Food Services Director, five full-time cooks, several part-time cooks, and volunteers. We prepare and serve approximately 500 delicious meals daily.
The menu is varied and nutritionally sound.
